I found myself squashed in the middle of the bed being prodded by my wife, complaining about storing, the reason why, old saggy hotel mattress. My family and I went to Stratford upon Avon to see Hamlet at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre and really enjoyed the whole weekend, great show, meals, pubs even the weather was great and I have to say even the hotel was good and we’ll be going back for autumn production of Richard II but not to the same hotel, why, poor beds. The hotel was clean, staff were really good and the breakfast tasty and filling but as soon as I sat on the edge of the bed, boing and my backside almost needed extracting, real shame. Why is that hotels allow their mattresses to get so old, management should try laying on them occasionally so as not to spoil an otherwise super stay. Did we complain or leave a message on trip advisor? no of course not, not very British, but we have told everyone to visit Stratford, see the play and stay somewhere else. So Hotel managers, check out your mattresses would you want to sleep on them?
