Divan beds are hollow wooden bases that are upholstered in fabric. They’re a more compact option as they’re the same dimension as your mattress. Rather than your mattress sitting within a bed frame, your mattress sits neatly on top of your divan base. Not all come with storage, but many come with the option to add drawers for extra storage. Drawers on storage divans provide a smaller storage space than Ottomans but are still handy for storing any smaller belongings such as extra bed linen or clothes.
