At 96 years old, and after 70 years on the throne, the Queen is now the longest-reigning British Monarch. Royal fan or not, we figured this must be pretty tiresome work and that the Queen deserved a little shut eye. With the Jubilee approaching, we are presenting this unique opportunity to become Bed Guru’s own ‘Royal Mattress Tester’ to see if our mattresses truly are fit for a queen.
In actual fact the Queen’s mattress, the ‘’Royal State Bed’’ would set you back a whopping £125,000, so we’re assuming it’s out of most people's budgets. Even if you were interested in investing, unfortunately, the monarch's mattress is a rare find as only 60 of its kind were made, and took around 700 hours to make!
Don’t worry though, at Bed Guru we believe everybody deserves to sleep like a royal! As part of our commitment to ensuring everyone gets a great nights sleep, we want to give one lucky person the opportunity to give us invaluable feedback on our mattress comfort.
Whoever is successful in applying to be our Royal Mattress Tester will be asked to give us feedback on their experience, and in return will be gifted our Essential Pocket Sprung Mattress. You’ll be required to score your sleep over the period of a week based on comfort, firmness, softness, support, and overall customer experience to see if our beds really are fit for a Queen.
Requirements:
- No prior experience or qualifications needed
- Must enjoy sleeping (who doesn’t?)
- Good sleep evaluation skills
- Space available for the mattress
- 18+ years old
- Living in the UK

- Give a short description of how you’ll be spending the Jubilee weekend – the person with the most jubilant jubilee plans will win the opportunity to get paid to test mattresses
